Allotment Eligibility Policy

Residents of East Donyland Parish (EDP) will always take precedence over non-residents on the waiting list even if they join the waiting list at a later date. People living outside of EDP will only be allocated a plot if there are no residents of EDP on the waiting list and following advertising no residents of EDP apply to take on vacant plots. 

Order of priority

  1. Residents of East Donyland Parish (see map)
  2. Residents of neighbouring parishes (at the discretion of the RAA and following advertisements for EDP residents to take on a plot).

Further criteria

  • Second plots: only residents of EDP can apply for a second plot.
  • Full plots: only residents of EDP are eligible for a full plots
  • Temporary residents: are not eligible for plots.
  • Plot holders moving away from  EDP:
    • Subject to annual approval by the RAA.
    • Required to vacate the plot at the end of the tenancy period if approval is not granted.
  • Other eligibility matters: At the discretion of the RAA
